The public is invited to attend an open house of the Spend-A-Day adult day health care program of SAGE Eldercare on May 11, 2-3:30 pm.

Refreshments will be provided, as well as musical entertainment by Jo Jo Russell. The SAGE staff will be on hand to give tours and answer any questions.

Spend-A-Day is available weekdays from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm with extended hours of 8 am – 5 pm at SAGE, 290 Broad Street, Summit. Designed by leading professionals, the program helps older adults remain living in their own homes by offering a safe place to spend days with stimulating, structured activities. Adult day programs often provide a significant cost advantage over other alternatives and research indicates structured social, physical, and cognitive activities are beneficial to individuals with, or at risk for, memory issues. Spend-A-Day is staffed by a group of caring, experienced professionals including registered nurses, a licensed, full-time geriatric social worker, a registered dietician, and several employees who are certified dementia practitioners.
