Fall Prevention
Seniors generally feel vulnerable to falls, which are the leading cause of injury-related deaths for older adults. Each year one-third of adults 65 and older living in the community experience a fallóan occurrence that can severely impact their quality of life.

SAGEís Fall Prevention Initiative educates seniors to reduce their chances of falling. In addition, SAGE hosts a series of Fall Prevention Forums for seniors that provide information and health screenings for vision, blood pressure, and bone density, as well as balance assessments.

Memory Care
This educational series teaches strategies to improve memory for seniors. Topics include dementia versus normal forgetfulness, Alzheimer's Disease management, strategies for memory enhancement and brain fitness, and delirium versus dementia.

Caring Series
Educational programs for adult children and active caregivers address the issues faced when senior parents or loved ones get older. Topics include dementia and family dynamics, medication, how to talk to aging parents, the latest Alzheimerís findings, housing options, caregiverís guilt, hearing loss and depression.
