Social Worker
SAGE seeks an energetic, self-motivated social worker to be responsible for the direction, provision, and quality of social services provided to our adult day health program clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience as a geriatric social worker; worked in a licensed healthcare facility; have a passion for engaging older adults; worked with people with dementia and their families. Requirements: MSW with experience in a licensed health care facility and with people with dementia preferred. Geriatric experience a must. Driving to clients' homes required. Must be licensed or certified by the NJ State Bd. of Social Work Examiners. Must be able to counsel families, facilitate small groups, and train staff. Public Relations / Event Marketing Intern
Summer intern position; schedule and hours to be determined; most likely 2 days per week, 3-4 hours per day in the morning, unpaid. College student with strong writing and editing skills, oral communication skills, ability to adhere to deadlines, thoroughness, ability to handle multiple tasks, and good organizational skills. Work will include public relations and communications, such as writing, photography, social media, as well as event planning and some administrative tasks. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, Publisher) is essential; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Contribute, InDesign is not necessary, but beneficial.
